Ductwrap by Rockwool is specially made to prevent heat loss in ducts. They are made of mineral wool and have factory-applied foil-facing on the outer side. They give superior thermal insulation to ducts, cold water storage, feed and expansion tanks. It soundproofs ductwork leading to a quiet and more productive workplace. Ductwrap also gives superior fire resistance and is non-combustible. They have the highest possible fire rating A1 by Euroclass. They can be used to insulate all types of ductwork in the H&V network.
Rockwool Ductwrap is the cheapest duct insulation out there, with no compromise to quality whatsoever. When installed correctly, ductwrap prevents any air leakage from the ducts whilst also restricting the entry of pollutants into the H&V system. They optimise the ducts' performance, which in turn helps make the building more energy-efficient. Foil facings in this ductwrap insulation give continuous protection against moisture. They also help keep problems like condensation and duct sweating to a minimum.
Ducting insulation helps improve indoor air quality. A properly installed ductwrap with appropriate service labels improves workplace safety. Rockwool Ductwrap saves energy and is chemically inert. It is rot-proof and does not support the growth of moulds, fungi etc.

Why choose Rockwool Ductwrap insulation?
Rockwool ductwrap is easy to use. Not only does it give top-of-the-class thermal insulation, but also soundproofs ductwork. The mineral wool used to make this duct insulation material, absorbs sound waves, giving you a quieter and more efficient workplace.
It is A1 fire rated and non-combustible in nature, which ensures extra safety against fire. In addition, this ducting insulation comes with factory-applied foil facings that not only keep the moisture out but also reflect radiant heat.
What make Rockwool Ductwrap Unique?
Rockwool ductwrap insulation is supplied as 1m wide rolls, which makes them easy to use and install. Additionally, it is made of mineral wool, meaning you will not have to deal with messy and harmful glass fibres during installation or maintenance.
Also, it works very efficiently in temperatures as high as 230°C, which means they are ideal for ductwork operating at high temperatures (up to 230°C).
How to install Rockwool Ductwrap?
Insulating Rockwool ductwrap is quite easy to install. You have to cut the insulation to size using a sharp knife and secure it around the ductwork using foil tape, insulation stick pins or insulation wires.
For a details duct insulation guide, please refer to our blog.
Do not forget to complete the installation by labelling the ducts using duct identification labels of the right kind for your application. It helps make your workplace safer.
Does Rockwool Ductwrap prevent Condensation?
When uninsulated ductwork travels through unheated spaces like garages or lofts, the medium(air) travelling within these ducts, like conditioned air etc, not only loses heat but also reaches its dew point, which forces them to condense or sweat.
By insulating them using ductwrap insulation by Rockwool, you protect them against heat loss. This means that when the ducts pass through uninsulated spaces, they do not lose heat or reach dewpoint, which in turn prevents them from sweating or condensing.
Where to buy Rockwool ductwarp Insulation?
You can buy ductwarp insulation online right here at Buy Insulation Online, we stock them in 25mm,40mm and 50mm thickness ranges.
How to Buy Rockwool Ductwrap Online?
