The Astroflame Insulated Fire Sleeve is an innovative, CE-marked, thermal, fire-rated pipe sleeve designed to offer comprehensive fire protection and insulation for both metal and plastic pipes.
Astroflame thermal fire rated pipe sleeve serves as a 4-in-1 solution, providing fire stopping, thermal and vapour sealing, and acoustic insulation for a variety of pipe diameters, including 17mm - 169mm. Each insulated pipe sleeve is 300mm long with 25mm thickness
Engineered to meet the highest safety standards, the Astroflame thermal fire pipe sleeve is CE approved. It is fire tested in accordance with EN 1366-3 with additional testing and assessments to BS 476 Part 20. Fire Ratings of EI30, EI60, EI90, EI120 or even up to EI240 minutes are offered depending on the construction type.
In Astroflame pipe fire sleeve, the compressible intumescent sleeve is supplied wrapped in a reinforced aluminium foil allowing it to be cut down its length and retro-fitted around the pipes.
The intumescent material within the sleeve expands in the event of a fire, effectively sealing the penetration and preventing the spread of flames and smoke. Its ability to replace two traditional solutions makes it a cost-effective choice for any construction project.
