Step-by-Step Application Guide
Always review the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before starting.
1. DilutionDo not dilute.The product is pre-mixed and ready to use.
2. Surface PreparationScrape away all loose, flaking, or soft paint.Clean back to a firm, solid surface.Remove visible mould and organic growth.Use a stiff fibre brush or scraper.Do not use a wire brush.
3. Apply the solution liberally to the surface.Use a paintbrush or a soft, lint-free cloth.Let the surface dry for 24 hours.Apply a second coat on heavily infected areas.Wash your brushes with clean water after removing excess product.
4. Handling Persistent StainsMould Stains: Dark spots remaining after treatment are deep-seated spores. Reapply the solution directly to these stains and let it dry completely to suffocate the spores.Other Stains: For watermarks, rust, or smoke stains, apply a dedicated stain-blocking primer before painting.
5. Ensure the treated surface is completely dry.Apply Glixtone Fungi-Shield Anti Mould Paint over the entire area.
