Introducing high-quality 100% sheep wool insulation, a perfect solution for keeping your home warm and comfortable all year round. Made from 100% natural and sustainable sheep wool, these insulation rolls are a healthier and safer choice for insulating lofts and suspended floors compared to mineral wool insulation.

How? Let us explain:

Thermal insulation: Sheep wool is a natural insulator. They have a thermal conductivity of 0.042 W/mk, which aids in preventing heat loss. Moreover, its thermal performance does not decrease with time or moisture, unlike mineral wool insulation

Breathability: Being 100% natural, sheep wool insulation is completely breathable. Breathable insulation does not let moisture accumulate in the application. In fact, The comfort sheep wool insulation range can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture, without affecting its insulating properties

Also, since the Comfort range of Sheepwool is made of only 100% natural sheep's wool, it has the ability to remove harmful toxins such as formaldehyde from a building. It starts the process as soon as it is installed and continues to do so almost forever! Therefore, without a doubt, Sheep wool insulation is not only healthy for the occupants as well as for the building.

Hit Target U-values with Ease - Isolena sheepwool insulation rolls are supplied in 100mm and 150mm thicknesses. Using this you would easily get 250mm total to achieve a U-value of 0.168, recommended but the Building standards.

Moreover, for this natural fibre insulation, you will need less number of rolls i.e, a lesser quantity compared to mineral wool to meet your target U-Values

Ionic Protect: One of the most common problems with sheep wool insulation is moths. As they are natural they tend to attract moths, which could degrade these insulation rolls. This is where the IONIC PROTECT ® biocide-free wool protection comes in.

The wool fibres undergo a plasma-ion treatment which brings about a slight modification in thier molecular protein structure, thus protecting them from parasites and moths. therefore these loft insulation rolls have an unlimited shelf life!

Easy to install: Unlike fibreglass insulation that is normally used to insulate lofts, sheep wool insulation is completely safe to touch and install.

They can additionally be installed on top of any existing fibreglass or mineral wool insulation rolls. This would prevent the glass fibres from being and causing harm.

The best part is that these insulation fibres can be easily torn by hand or using a simple cutting device.

Fire And Acoustic Insulation: The comfort range of Sheep's wool insulation has a low density of 14kg/m3 which helps prevent sound transfer to some extent.

The natural fibres of sheep wool have a high moisture content, which means they do not support the spread of flames. In fact, once the source is removed, sheep wool self extinguishes the fire and also reduce the spread of flames.

Due to it's , wool does not support combustion and will extinguish itself when the source of flame is removed. In the event of a fire, wool is a much safer material than man-made products as it does not release poisonous fumes.

Natural Insulation: Isolena sheep wool insulation is made of a 100% natural sheep wool. We can easily refer to it as the 'greenest insulation product in the market today simply because its made from renewable and sustainable resources.

It requires about 15% less energy to make sheep's wool insulation as  compared to mineral wool. It does not contain any GDP or ODP potential. Even after the end of its service life, sheep wool insulation can be recycled into other wool products or is biodegradable. It is not only a safe insulating choice for the environment but also for us. It improves air quality and does not contain any formaldehyde that can harm one's health and well-being.

Where to Use: The comfort range of Sheep wool insulation can be used to insulate horizontal applications like lofts, ceiling floors, storey ceiling, tie-beam-roof, suspended floors - insulated horizontally from above wooden construction
