- Positioning: Hold the male pipe or fitting end securely in your left hand.
- Direction: Grip the tape roll in your right hand. Wrap the tape clockwise around the thread, pulling the spool away from your body. (Left-handed users: Hold the joint in your right hand and unwrap the tape toward your body).
