A condensate pipe is a pipe that is part of an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system that carries condensate or acidic wastewater released from the boilers away from the system.
In most cases, the condensate is drained away through the condensate pipe, which runs outside a building. Therefore it is obviously subjected to harsh winter, and damage outside. Therefore it is of utmost importance that condensate pipes are insulated.
