Foil insulation is mostly installed by stapling, however, refer to the manufacturer's guidelines before installing them.
In addition to its insulation performance, EcoQuilt Expert is also eco-friendly. It does not contain or release any floating fibers during installation or when disturbed. In fact, you could probably install foil insulation, without protective clothing. However, we do recommend wearing protective gloves during installing foil insulation.

Even though it is just 15mm thick (6mm when compressed), this multifoil insulation is equivalent to 100mm of mineral wool insulation and 50mm of PIR boards. This means more indoor space! When taped and sealed securely, these foil insulation rolls act as a protective vapour barrier and reduce condensation.

- Roof insulation - Ecoquilt expert can be used to insulate both pitched and flat roofs. it is essentially stapled or nailed to rafter or joistsand then sealed usinf thermaseal jointing tape
- Wall insulation - It can be used internally, staped directly to timber framed walls or battens on solid brick wall
- Floor Insulation - Ideally used to insulate suspended timber floors - above or below.
- Conservatory roof insulation - When used to insualte conservatory roofs, they reflect radiant heat away
