SuperQuilt is a lightweight, easy-to-use foil insulation roll, known for its superior insulation. It becomes quite easy to hit the required U-Value targets with these foil rolls. They ensure savings, both in terms of energy and money all year round.
The unique combination of nineteen foil layers in this SuperQuilt insulation ensures a strong core thermal resistance, which is further proven and tested to EN16012. It has also been accepted by the NHBC and meets the requirements of both L1A and its addition L1B 2010. It can be used for refurbishment projects and new builds alike. These foil rolls are ideal to insulate walls, roofs, cavity walls, external walls, drylining, crawl spaces, campervans and much more.
They effectively reduce heat build-up in summer as they reflect heat outside. Foil rolls effectively restrict the transfer of heat through all three modes, something which mineral wool insulation cannot do. Also, with foil insulation rolls helps achieve improved indoor air quality. It does not release harmful fibres that wool insulation does. Plus, the dust or waste produced during the installation of these foil rolls is basically negligible compared to installing PIR boards.
YBS Superquilt foil rolls are very easy to install. Unlike PIR boards, you can easy insulate any nook and crannies on the walls or roofs using foil insulation. Plus, If you follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and seal the joints with foil tape, these foil rolls can also be used as a vapour control layer. Foil rolls reduce the risk of condensation.
