Isocheck Impact Mat acoustic flooring systems have been meticulously engineered to excel in reducing impact sound through timber floors and staircases. These systems have undergone acoustic tests, which are accepted for this specific purpose, although it's important to note that not all authorities endorse tests conducted with a soft floor covering on structural timber floors.

Isocheck Impact Mat 100: is a 6.5mm thick layer crafted from Isolate R (recycled rubber in a recipe for excellent impact improvement and dynamic stiffness) offers substantial improvements in impact sound reduction. It is ideal for use over floorboards, engineered floors, staircases, conversions, refurbishments or listed buildings requiring minimal structural change. It is 1200mm wide and 12.5M Long, weighing 39kgs per roll

Isocheck Impact Mat 200: is crafted from an 8mm Isofiba / barrier mat composite. Imapct Mat 200 is 1200 x 1000mm in dimension, with 8mm thickness of the resilient layer. Impact Mat 200 can be used a single layer or double layer over floorboards or
concrete decks for conversions, refurbishments or listed buildings that requires minimal structural change with a new plasterboard or existing lath and plaster ceiling.

Isocheck Impact Mat 300:  is a tri-layer system with 12mm in thickness, featuring an Isopoli core that offers both impact and airborne noise improvements. Each roll is 1200 x 1000mm in dimension and is ideal for floor upgrades when looking to improve sound reduction on stairs and under engineered floors.

When these systems are properly installed as integral components of a complete party floor construction, they ensure that timber floors meet the stringent sound transmission standards specified in Approved Document E of 2003 and its subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010, 2013, and 2015.

These versatile systems are commonly employed beneath timber laminate floors and on staircases, offering various levels of airborne sound insulation based on their thickness and weight. In laboratory conditions, Isocheck Impact Mats 100 and 300 typically achieve impressive results of up to 30dB and 40dB, respectively.

The laboratory performance of Impact Mat 200 has been assessed at 26dB for a single layer. Moreover, on-site test results have consistently demonstrated favorable outcomes concerning Approved Document E requirements, particularly in enhancing airborne noise reduction alongside impact noise reduction.
