This breathable membrane had recycled closed cell polyethylene foam at it core, with up to 99.4% pure aluminium facings. Low-E insulation further comprises of perforations that enhances the way this reflective insulation manages moisture build-up. It won’t absorb moisture, delaminate or corrode. This Low-e reflective insulation virtually rot proof. 

Along with its resistance to moisture, it acts as a superior air infiltration barrier, helps reduce draughts and uncontrolled air movement. Furthermore, it increases thermal performance and thereby saves energy by blocking up to 97% of radiant heat.

In addition, Low-E PERF perforated breather membrane is has a Class A/Class 1 Fire Rating, not something most reflective foil insulation materials can claim. It also deadens sound.  Low-e insulation is totally non-toxic, as it does not release fibers or cause itching. It does not harm your indoor air environment in any way.

Unlike other multifoil insulation, this reflective foil breather membrane is not made of multiple layers, which makes it easy to cut and install. Ideally, it recommended for use on the external sides of an insulation system and is certified for use in wall, floor, and roofing applications.
