Novia Double Sided Butyl Tape is incredibly easy to use - simply peel off the protective backing and apply it to your desired surface. The tape is flexible and conformable, allowing it to easily adapt to irregular shapes and surfaces.
This tape is resistant to water, heat, and extreme weather conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It also has excellent chemical resistance, ensuring that it maintains its integrity even in harsh environments.
It is ideally used to secure Novia gas membranes and vapour control layers against air and water vapour ingress. However, it is not suitable for use as the load-bearing element of a system. Also, Air and Vapour Control Layers (AVCL) and Damp Proof membranes (DPM) will also require mechanical fixings to further secure installations.
