The Novia Vapour Control Layer is designed to prevent the passage of water vapour through walls, floors, and ceilings, reducing the risk of condensation and mould growth. Additionally, it performs as an air-leakage barrier, to prevent losses due to unwanted convection flows.
Installation of this VCL is simple and straightforward, and it can be easily cut to size to fit any application. The 500G polythene material is also tear-resistant, ensuring that it will last for many years without the need for replacement.
Ideally, Novia 500 gauge Polythene VCL should be used in combination with Novia breather membranes for an air-tight and vapour resistant system.
