Novia VC8 Reflective is a technologically advanced reflective air-tight vapour check membrane designed to provide superior moisture management and thermal enhancement within the building envelope. This AVCL (Air and Vapour Control Layer) is a high-performance solution that functions as both an air leakage barrier and vapour control layer, ensuring the integrity and longevity of modern construction projects.

As a reflective vapour control layer it delivers a low moisture vapour permeability solution. Novia VC8 helps to prevent interstitial condensation problems and is also highly reflective and so delivers greatly improved U and R values when correctly installed

Applications

Novia VC8 Reflective is designed for use in a variety of insulated wall and roof applications. Its primary goal is managing moisture to prevent condensation and mould growth within the insulated wall or roof timber.

  • Roof and Wall: Specifically suited for the warm side of the insulation in timber frame or masonry constructions.
  • Air-Tightness: Used as an air leakage barrier to significantly reduce heat loss through the building fabric.
  • Novia VC8 reflective air and vapour control layer is 1.5m wide and 50M long. Covers 75 Sqm
  • High reflectivity and low emissivity surface which can deliver improved U values.
  • As a reflective air-tight vapour check membrane it delivers improved R and U values
  • Specifically designed to provide an Sd value of 8 metres.
  • CE approved to BS EN 13984. Helps buildings to meet the requirements of BS 5250
