Rubaflex nitrile rubber pipe insulation is an elastomeric, closed-cell, flexible black foam pipe lagging, suited for various applications
This black pipe insulation has a low thermal conductivity and an operating temperature range between - 40 degreeC - 85 degreeC. Ideally, it can be used to insulate cold and warm water pipes, operating in this temperature range.
Moreover, it is a Class O rated nitrile pipe insulation, that complies to building regulations and certified to EN 14304. Rubaflex, is a direct alternative to Armaflex pipe insulation, in terms of thermal conductivity, fire performace and other important featured.
This slit tube of Rubaflex is simply wrapped around the pipework you need to insulate. The ends of the insulation are jouned together using pipe insulation adhesives like Armacell 520 or similar. You can also use foam tapes to futher secure the insulation
Key Features:
- Rubaflex pipe insulation is Class O rated and complies with building regulations.
- Slit black pipe insulation is ideal for use in commercial, residential and industrial applications.
- Low thermal conductivity of 0.033 W/(m·K) of this elastomeric foam ensures protection against heat loss, condensation and sweating.
- When installed perfectly, it reduces condensation in sweating in the pipework.
- Alternative to Armacell in terms of fuctionality and thermal properties
Applications:
Rubalflex Pipe Insulation can be used to insulate:
- Heating and hot water pipes not exceeding +85*C
- To insulate chilled and cold water pipes, up to -40*C
- Residential pipe insulation projects and DIY.
- Commercial and industrial projects.
