Trutite 616 Thread Sealant is a high viscosity and medium strength sealant designed for the sealing and locking of threaded metal fittings and pipe connections. Supplied in a 250ml bottle, this thread sealant is designed for the instant assembly of threaded fasteners and threaded pipe fittings while providing reliable protection against leaks and loosening caused by vibration.
It cures when oxygen is no longer present between mating metal surfaces. As air is displaced between the threads, the sealant begins to cure rapidly, forming a durable seal that helps prevent leakage and thread movement.
Its high viscosity and medium strength sealant formulation is particularly effective for larger thread clearances and wide-diameter threaded applications. Once cured, the assembly can be disassembled with standard hand tools when maintenance or replacement is required, making it ideal for serviceable installations.
