Thermal insulation jackets are not only restricted to just valves or flanges. We can use the same technique to cover and protect other equipment like plate heat exchangers, actuators, hose reels and much more. They are even made to cover and protect odd shaped valves or flanges.

Bespoke insulation covers are made to order like any valve jacket insulation, we supply. We will only need measurements of the instrument you are trying to insulate to make the bespoke cover for you

Some Examples of Custom Insulation Covers we manufacture;

  • PHX Jacket (Plate Heat Exchanger Jacket)
  • Hose Reel Cover / Insulation for Hose Reels
  • Chilled Water Pump Jackets
  • Boiler insulation jacket
  • Cold water tank jackets
  • Lagging jacket for hot water tank
  • Water cylinder jacket / Cylinder Lagging Jackets
  • Water pump insulation
  • Turbine Insulation Jackets

Why Use Thermal Insulation Jacket?

Insulation: Insulation jackets provide thermal insulation to the equipments you are looking to cover and protect.  They come with a 50mm mineral wool infill or Armaflex infill (ideal for freeze protection), depending on the location and type of the cover.

Energy Efficiency:  Insulation jackets make the equipments efficient. Since energy is maintained, the systems work better and more efficiently.

Safer Workplace: Thermal insulation jackets help protect your workforce from contact with the hot/cold surface of these equipments, hence improving workplace safety. They also protect these instruments from condensation or sweating. As a result, water does not drip which prevents the formation of tiny water pools in the workplace, leading to accidental slips or mishaps.

Easy Maintenance: Insulation jackets come with velcro straps and pull cords that ensure the a snug fit around screwed instruments. Hence, no gaps left in the insulation, resulting in a more energy-efficient HVAC systema nd therfore, a more effiecint building. Insulation jackets also reduces installation time by half. Plus, the covers are not damaged in any way when each time you remove them from the equipments for maintenance, unlike traditional insulation.

Make: Insulation jackets, depending on the location are made of:

  • Silicone Cloth: We make inner jackets for indoor use with silicone cloth.
  • PVC Cloth: PVC cloth is made use of to protect equipments from the harsh outer environment conditions.  Custom insulation made of PVC is weatherproof.
  • Infill: Insulation jackets are mde with  50mm mineral wool or Armaflex insualtion infill. Armaflex is preferred if you are looking for freeze protection
