Knauf wallboard is a strong, sturdy, versatile, high-quality plasterboard with an ivory paper face. It can be used to achieve a flawless plaster finish or left unfinished direct decoration. This plasterboard has a high-quality gypsum core sandwiched between two paper liners. It is suitable for use in both household and commercial interior walls, ceilings, and partitions. Knauf wallboards ivory facing is ideal for taping and jointing.

Knauf wallboard is standard plasterboard, available in a wide range of sizes to meet all basic drylining requirements. This wallboard is appropriate for ordinary applications requiring standard fire, structural, and acoustic standards. It is suitable for use as a cladding component in a wide range of partition and lining systems. Plasterboards can be used in conjunction with Knauf jointing compounds, plasters, fixings, plasterboard adhesive and metal systems.

Applications:

• Knauf Wallboard is standard plasterboard typically used as a cladding component in a wide range of partition and lining systems like in internal walls, ceilings, linings and partitions. 
• Plasterboard is unsuitable for areas that are continuously damp, humid or above 50oC.

Storage:

• Plasterboards must be stored flat and protected from inclement weather.
• Appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment etc. should be used when handling all Knauf boards.

Installation and Handling:

• Use in accordance with BS 8000 British Standard Workmanship on building sites − Part 8: Code of practice for plasterboard partitions and dry linings.
• Use of protective gloves, glasses and face masks are recommended, during installation.
• Avoid inhaling dust when cutting/handling the plasterboard. Work in an area with adequate ventilation.
