building metal supplies

Libra metal C stud is a type of building material used in construction. It is a C-shaped steel stud that is used as a structural support element in walls, ceilings, and floors.  It is basically used as a non-lead bearing vertical support for wall framing

Each metal stud is about 3M long. We have a range of vertical metal studs of varying widths to suit your requirements.  These vertical metal studs combined with the ceiling and floor tracks form a framework which is designed to install gypsum-based plasterboards. It is a non-lead bearing framework made of galvanised steel for protection against corrosion.

Metal ‘c’ stud is an essential component when making the stud wall. This framework together supports the insulation and helps improve the thermal performance.

Studs are designed with a textured surface to make it easier for screws to be driven straight into wallboards when installing drywall; this reduces the amount of effort required by the contractor during installtion.

Libra Metal C studs are used in both residential and commercial construction and are typically used in drywall and wall framing applications. They are lightweight and easy to install, making them a popular choice among builders and contractors.
