Crafted from virgin grade blown polythene, it complies with BS EN 13984, offering a cost-effective and high-performance solution. Application
Novia 1200G Vapour Control Layer DIY Kit can be used in various applications where a vapour control layer is required, such as:
- Walls: This vapour barrier can be installed on the warm side of the insulation, either between the studs or over the studs, and taped at the joints and edges
- Roofs: VCL is also ideal for installation on the warm side of the insulation, either between the rafters or over the rafters, and taped at the joints and edges
- Floors: It can be installed on the warm side of the insulation, either between the joists or over the joists, and taped at the joints and edges

- Novia 1200g vcl membrane complies with BS EN 13984:2013, which specifies the requirements and test methods for vapour control layers for use in building construction
- Novia 1200G membrane also complies with BS 5250:2011+A1:2016, which specifies the code of practice for control of condensation in buildings
