Installation Guidelines – Powerlon® UV 160 SA

Ensure the membrane is installed flat and smooth, avoiding any creases or folds.

When wrapping corners, loosely apply the membrane or create a well-sealed butt joint—do not crease the material.

Unroll the membrane so that the inner face of the roll is outward-facing once in place.

Tension the membrane during installation and secure all loose ends, overlaps, and edges using mechanical fasteners (e.g., staples) or Powerlon® UV Façade Sealant or Powerlon® UV Façade Tape.

Do not bond the membrane directly to non-rigid surfaces such as insulation.

If using staples, ensure they are sealed using either Powerlon® UV Façade Tape or Powerbond® Butyl Tape to maintain weather resistance.
