The Siderise DeadMAT Sound Barrier Mat 5kg/m² or 10 Kg/m², is a thin, flexible vinyl mat loaded with heavy mineral salts. It comes in a smooth-finish roll and serves as an acoustic multi-purpose matting system, enhancing sound insulation for various materials.
Its high mineral salt content provides natural flame retardancy, is self-extinguishing to FMVSS302
Ideal for domestic soundproofing projects, it effectively addresses coincidence dip resonance in stiff, lightweight composites like plywood, metal, plastic, and GRP. Suitable for use as noise curtain or combined with other soundproofing materials, stand alone sound insulation performance of 25dB RW for 2mm nand 31dB RW for 4mm mat.
