This organic cellulose insulation is made of unmixed newspaper with the addition of minerals for preservation and fire protection. The paper is shredded coarsely and then processed into fine, elastic cellulose fibres in a fibre mill.
Thermafloc cellulose fibre insulation is used to insulate horizontal spaces. With a thermal conductivity of 0.039 W/mK, cellulose insulation saves energy and helps retain heat indoors.
