Fibreglass Foil-Backed Ductwrap boasts a core composed of high-quality glass wool insulation, fortified with reinforcing fibres for exceptional durability. The aluminium foil face on one side amplifies thermal efficiency, effectively containing heat within the ducts. The foil-backing also performs as a vapour barrier, thereby protecting both the insulation and ducts from moisture or related issues.
Along with ducting insulation, the Ecowool blanket is also known to absorb sound. This sound-absorbing property comes from the high-density fibreglass used in making this ductwrap insulation. It effectively reduces the operational sound of the ductwork. It reduces the transmission of HVAC noises such as popping, cracking or air turbulence, giving you a more quieter and effective workplace.
