- Superior Vapour Control : This vapour control layer offers excellent moisture vapour resistance. Its extremely low vapour permeability creates an effective vapour check, preventing harmful interstitial condensation from damaging the building's insulation and structure.
- Exceptional Airtightness : FlamePro A1 FR creates a fully airtight barrier, significantly reducing air leakage. This is critical for improving the building's thermal performance, boosting energy efficiency, and meeting modern construction standards.
- Enhanced Thermal Properties: The product is reflective on one side and white on the reverse. The reflective surface helps to improve the thermal efficiency of the insulated element it is applied to.
Installation:
- For all airtight installations of Novia® FlamePro A1, use Novia 30mm Double-Sided Butyl tape and Novia 96mm BS 476 Cold Weather Foil Lap tape.
- For additional sealing, such as on internal corners, floor sections, or window reveals, you can also use Novia® Airseal 310 FR AVCL sealant.
- Novia FlamePro A1 FR is 1.48M wide and 50M long. One roll covers 74 Sqm
- It is a high performing, reflective Air & Vapour Control Layer (AVCL) and is A1 fire rated.
- Novia FlamePro A1 FR complies with EN 13501-1 Fire Classification A1 and is approved for use in high rise applications.
- This fire rated VCL is reflective on one side and white on the reverse, with no text or images.
- Helps towards BS 5250 requirements.
