Bostik W110 is a self-adhesive, compact, lightweight, high-performing acoustic insulation roll made of a thermal acoustic layer laminated between two layers of pressure-sensitive butyl and finished with an aluminium face.
These foil insulation rolls have a high-tack butyl adhesive that can adhere easily to almost any surface, including steel, plastic and PVC. They are easy to install and do not need any special tools or devices. Acoustic pipe lagging significantly saves installation time.
Soundproofing insulation also gives superior thermal insulation. It is Class O rated, which means it complies with the building regulation and also gives exceptional fire insulation. It can be used to insulate and soundproof pipes working in temperatures as low as -30°C and as high as +90°C temperature range

Applications:
- Bostik W110 Acoustic pipe insulation wrap is used to insulate and soundproof plastic rainwater pipes.
- They also give superior sound insulation to sewage pipes
- Soundproofing pipe insulation can also be used to insulate and soundproof pies and ductwork in the H&V system.
- It can also be used to soundproof steel and PVC pipe and ductwork.
Installation:
- The surface of the pipe or duct that you plan to use this soundproof insulation on needs to be dust-free, free of grease, loose debris and absolutely dry.
- Measure the diameter of the pipe and cut the insulation roll to size, making sure there is a minimum 25mm overlap.
- Take off the protective lining. Align the wrap over the surface and secure it. Progressively pull the wrap taut as you remove the protective lining, and then apply good pressure all over the surface to remove air gaps. Ensure that you do not touch the adhesive surface.
- Make sure the overlap is well attached. You can further secure the acoustic pipe lagging using foil tapes.
Please note that appropriate personal protection must be worn when installing Bostik W110 acoustic pipe insulation wrap. The installation must be carried out in a well-ventilated area and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and Health and safety data sheet
